Part one finished.

I have finished the first part of the Castles in the Air Mystery SAL by Papillon Creation. I am really liking the way this is turning out. I am happy with the colours I have picked. I am leaving the beads for the moment as I want to see what part two holds before I comit finally to the two bead colours.

Weekend update

I got quite a lot down on Barbara Ana's 'Stitch or Die'. Hopefully It won't be too long before it is finished. This is a fun stitch as it is bright and cheerful.

This is what I have done so far on Castles in the Air, the mystery SAL by Papillon Creation. It's starting to move along nicely. I am making sure I go slow and concise to get the counting bang on and first time due to the intricacy of the speciality stitches.



I haven't really worked on it over the weekend as I prefer to stitch this one with no Him Indoors or the kids around lol. Less likely to be mistakes that way!

I decided to finish this one differently to the last ones. The main reason being I couldn't be bothered to get the sewing machine out lol. The picture isn't great as I scanned it.

My fabric came this morning so I decided to start the mystery SAL. I am doing the speciality stitches version on 32ct Ivory Jobelan. I had a bit of a problem with the Queen stitches, but after much sewing , frogging, resewing, I got there in the end. I decided to do the speciality version for the challenge. I know some stitches and not others but the instructions are clear to follow. I am looking forward to seeing this one grow.

A dragon for him indoors!

Today his him indoors birthday (Colin), so I stitched him this blue dragon bookmark. Its a Gemstone Dragon by Dragon Dreams. He got really spoilt today as Rene in Las Vegas sent him a couple of things too including a CSI Vegas T-Shirt which he loves!

Today was Mothers day.

I haven't got much stitching done this weekend and this is it lol. Aprils Lizzie Kate Stamp.
I just paid a £1 for the Papillon Creations Mystery SAL. Never done a mystery sal and I said I never would lol. But I am looking forward to doing it. I have just ordered my fabby from sewandso's.



For Mothers Day, I got this lovely Orchid and a bottle of pink bubbly from my oldest daughter Becky. The orchid is actually purple but for some reason, it has come out pink in the picture.



The twins and my other daughter Kim, got me bunches of flowers.



And the twins also brought me these gold necklaces too. I am one lucky mum!

Summer Dragon update- half way done!

Yay! I am now halfway through Summer Dragon! The last couple of days, I have really buckled down on it. Only another three pages to go! lol.

Summer Dragon update

It's been ages since I updated Summer Dragon, but it takes ages to stitch on it due to all the blending filament and metallics. And not to mention the ammount of backstitching! I'm backstitching the borders as I go and will leave the dragon till last. The photo does not do the dragon any justice whatsoever.
I would like to thank all those that have given me so much encouragement where this project is concerned. I really do appreciate it and it helps motivate me into stitching on it.

Small update

Last night I finished off my Lizzie Kate March Stamp properly. It's a bit bright as the flash made it lighter.

Today I stitched on a secret project which I will show once the person has received it and also put a few stitches in Summer Dragon which I will take a picture of as soon as I have finished page three which shouldn't be much longer now lol.

Monday update

It's been a while since I updated on here. I haven't done much stitching lately due to one reason or another. Heres how far I have got done on this piece. Its 'stitch or die' by Barbara Ana. I managed to get a nice lot done on it on Sunday when we was at the in laws.

I got my Fabric and Floss of the month from Polstitches today as well. I was a bit disapointed as I seem to have had an awful lot of blue themed fabric the last few months. I hope it's a totally different colour next month!

Whilest we were at the in laws, Linda gave me this kit that she had been given. She has also done this one so thought I might like it for the boys room. I will get round to doing it one day lol!

We went to London on the saturday and went on the London Eye. Pics can be seen here .
