I didn't work too much on it today. I'm having real trouble getting into it. I can't really say why either. I will be glad when it's finished.

Summer Dragon update

I'm going to experiment with this blog for a while and see if it's worth using just for my stitching updates. I have had a lot of trouble with blogger in the past.

I have now made this my main project as I really want it finished this year. I have promised myself that as soon as it's finished I will start Circe the Sorceress lol. I also finished the piece for my Women's Day exchange on ILCS. Just got to finish it off now.
I went to Weight Watchers on Tuesday and lost a lb making a total of 5 now.

Well, I've had trouble trying to use Blogger in the past so I'd thought I would give it another go!

Here is a bookmark I finished for the ILCS childrens bookmark exchange. I sighned up for two and have another one to make.

I am currently working on Guardian Angel, it is part of my rotation system. Rotations seem to work for me and I like working on several different ones at any given time lol. i always have something small on the go as well.

NO PHOTO DUE TO BLOGGER SAYING IT'S UPLOADED IT WHEN IT HASN'T THATS WHY I STOPPED USING BLOGGER AND WENT OVER TO 360!!!!!!

As promised, here is a picture of the lovely gifts Margaret made for me. They are just so pretty! Very professionally finished as well. They look too good to use lol, but I will as I don't have a pin cushion!

Yesterday, I had great fun in deciding what project I was going to do in the 'special project' SAL on Friendly Stitchers. I opted for 'Midnight Enchanter' by Dimensions as I have had this chart and charms for five years now. I already have the fabric which is hand painted cashel linen in 'Night' by Sugar Maple Fabrics on 28ct. The rest of the floss and Kreinik I ordered from www.sewandso.co.uk yesterday, which turned up this morning! (Don't cha just love sewandso!) I just have to wait and find out when the SAL will start.

I've been working on Pansy Angel which at the moment, seems like I'm not getting anywhere with as I am stitching the wings which is mostly white. But I know I am when I refer back to photos in progress that I have taken. In the evenings I have been stitching on a bookmark for Colins mum which she picked out for me to do for her lol. It's 'Poppy Meadow' Textile Heritage. I'm have done about three quarters of the stitching so far.

Today I managed to do some stitching on my SAL on I love Cross Stitch group. I was pleased with what I did today as I have neglected it over the last three Wednesdays or so. It seems to be going so slowly though. I guess it's where it's on 18ct aida!

I was very pleasantly surprised with some stitched gifts from Margaret! They are lovely and I will get them photographed asap so I can put the piccys up on here for every one to see!

I've had this Blog account for ages and never bothered posting up till now! I saw Margarets Blog and thought it was about time I did mine lol.
I mainly want to keep this one for my stitching and just thought it was good to have a dedicated blog for it.
I am stitching on several things right now but my favourite is Pansy Angel by Black Swan which Wanda sent me as part of my Secret Sister parcels in the second round on I love cross stitch group.
