I finished my England Sampler by The Victoria Sampler. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. The kit came with information too.
Official Flower: English Rose
Motto: "Dieu et Mon Droit" (God and My Right)
Bird: European Robin
The offical Flower of England is the English Rose, and the Robin on the left is the official bird. The Foliage stitch under the Robin, symbolizes the wonderful green valleys that attract visitors from all over the world. The St.Georges Cross is the national Flag. The featured stitch represents the surrounding ocean (fan stitch), as well as the Thames River. Finally, at the bottom of the heart, you can find the Crown of England to celebrate the long reign of Queen Elizabeth 11!
On Monday we rang Kodak and they said they would send us a new printer head free of charge and it turned up yesterday (Wednesday), I am certainly impressed with how speedy it turned up! So needless to say, I printed out the Papillon pt 3 SAL out lol.

Your heart is so pretty and I just love english roses. They are not easily found here where I live. It's cool how everything has it's own meaning. I am glad you got your printer moving again. Good luck on part 3.

Very nice finish Kelly, it turned out lovely.
ReplyDeleteVery nice finish of the England heart. Those kits are wonderful with all the accessories and the information about the symbols. I have done one for my MIL who lives in the state of Kansas and mounted it on a photo album for all her travels. I am glad to hear that you were able to print out step 3. I look forward to a picture after you are done with that step.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself!
