Midnight Enchanter Update

It's been a while since I updated this, so here is a before picture:

This is what it looks like now:

A close up of the area I am working on:

A prospective shot on how large the project is:

So what do you rate my chances on getting it finished this year? After the cross stitching, there is tons of back stitching and piping to do..........time will tell on whether I get it done this year lol.

  1. It's looking good Kelly, you might finish it this year but then again you might not!! I don't know how much more there is to stitch but if there is a lot of backstitch I don't envy you :-)))
Courage as they say in France!

  9. It's looking great Kelley! so nice to see you giving this piece some concentrate.
This year may be a bit ambitious but I'm sure you'll have it done well before the middle of 2012.

  10. Great progress, and if you don't finish this year, I know you will get it done next year! Don't know if I told you, I was in Vegas last week. Went to Rene's LNS, and thought of her and you!

  11. Kelly, Midnight Enchanter is looking fantastic! Great progress. I didn't realize that it was such a huge piece. I am not sure how much more stitching you have to do but I believe there will be alot of backstitching. You mentioned piping. What is that? If you don't finish it this year, I will just ask periodically how the progress is so you can definitely get it done sometime next year. :)

  17. Wow! Midnight Enchanter looks absolutely gorgeous! I called my son to come and take a look, and he said it looked way too good to have been cross-stitched. It really is stunning! x
