Are you missing me? lol

Are you missing me? lol

It's been a while since I did a blog update but my life has been very hectic. I can't believe that within the next two to three weeks, I will have two new grandbabies! I have been helping my daughter in the restaurant, so thats why I havent been online so much let alone on my groups. Cross stitch has taken a bit of a backburner for a while just while I get the baby things done.

First off, I would like to say thank you to Lori for my lovely pincushion and matching bag and goodies for our swap on International Hand Stitchers. I love it and so does my grandson. He walks around with tortoise pincushion when he is here lol

I have managed to finish a pram blanket for Becky, the peach one, and am now crocheting a cot blanket for Sarah. Got to finish that one and start another cot blanket and finish it by the time the babies are due :o

I have also managed to do some more squares for the throw from the Art of Crochet publication.

Besides, just lately, every bit of cross stitch I'v picked up, I've gone wrong on. So a break is probably good at the moment until the baby bits are finished. Obviously my mind is elsewhere!

I have Colin at home off sick from work with a virus and my gas boiler has been condemned so I am waiting for my landlord to install the new one. Thank gawd we have an emersion heater for backup hot water.

I hope everyone is well and healthy. I will be back in full on groups as soon as both grandbabies are born. So for now, happy stitching my friends.

  1. Hope everything goes Well!! Love the blankets :)

  2. Of course I'm missing you! And I hope to see some more stitching in the future (though I like your squares too).

  3. Lovely finishes. Cross stitch can wait until you have time to dedicate to it. I've got some frogging to do too so I feel for you. I bet you're all on cloud nine waiting for those babies. (and their mothers are beyond ready for them to be here lol)

Hope Colin is feeling better and that your landlord gets things fixed quickly. So good to hear from you! Hugs from sunny HOT Florida

  4. Have been missing you!!

I look forward to seeing tons of pics of the new grandbabies when they arrive.

    Your crocheting looks fabulous.

  5. And yes, we have been missing you! But totally understandable! Life just gets hectic. Your crocheting for the babies, etc. is wonderful! Enjoy your precious time with your family and soon to be babies!

  6. Glad to see that you are OK. I have been wondering how you have been. How exciting about the babies. Your blankets for them are beautiful.

  7. Your crocheting looks great and you have been busy, just look at all you've done. You really think you're going to have more time with cross stitch after all the babies arrive??? You'll be too busy loving on them!!!

  8. I tried my hand at crochet when I was about 10 but never really got the hang of it. (no pun intended). That's OK, though. I enjoy admiring the creations of others. Your baby blankets are really pretty. Hope to read more soon. Wishing you the best with you newest arrivals.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate each and every one.
