I must Be Mad!

Why you ask? Because I have just purchased a HAED chart.......

 

It is The Green Man Cernunnos. I have just ordered 25ct Dublin Linen for it from www.sewandso.co.uk 
I didn't really want to commit to a HAED but it was the only chart I liked when I was looking for a Green Man one. I am going to get it kitted up over the next couple of weeks. I am hoping I don't have to buy too much thread. If I do, I will buy as needed.
Seeing it is such an undertaking, I will have small projects on the go as well.

    Gulp! I really don't see me ever doing one of these tbh - but never say never I guess... Love the design - looking forward to seeing your progress :) Good to see you back - sorry to hear you've been ill :(

    I'm doing three HAEDs right now. There are some great hints on the forum. One of the ones I consider most importantly is gridding your fabric. It will help you keep your place. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your progress. It is going to be beautiful.

    I see you've got the bug too! From my experience it is much easier to stitch those HAEDs on 22ct. I started a few of them and just because it was 25ct they ended up in UFO pile. I'm doing Guardian Angel on 22ct with 2 threads over 1 and love it. Mind you, it was Rene who told me the trick a long time ago but I wasn't listen...

    That is a fantastic Cernunnos ! I have also searched for a really god one, but unfortunately I cannot now see clearly enough to stitch the HAEDs :( .. how great to be in a drumming group ... unfortunately I have had to post as anonymous becuase blogger won't let me otherwise for some reason ...
