My fabric came this morning so I decided to start the mystery SAL. I am doing the speciality stitches version on 32ct Ivory Jobelan. I had a bit of a problem with the Queen stitches, but after much sewing , frogging, resewing, I got there in the end. I decided to do the speciality version for the challenge. I know some stitches and not others but the instructions are clear to follow. I am looking forward to seeing this one grow.
It looks SO beautiful already. I might give in and start that one as well.
ReplyDeleteLooks good, great color choices. I know you will have fun learning the new stitches.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like the colors you are using.
ReplyDeleteI like your color choices. I am getting ready to start this one with the specialty stitches too.

Love the colors that you chose. Looking foward to seeing each project picture on this one.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty already!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA good start and lovely colours.
ReplyDeleteI love it! You've inspired me to start mine as well.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get my supplies for this one this weekend!
ReplyDeleteBut I wussed out and decided to go with the basic one because I have too many elaborate projects on the go right now... now I'm almost wishing I'd gone with the specialty stitches. Yours looks so great!
Looking good Kelly - I'm so fighting the temptation to start this one, but seeing the photos on ilcs is making it hard...
ReplyDeleteNot a castle fan, but the WIP I have seen of this one is very pretty so far. I'll have to see how it develops and see if I break down.
ReplyDeleteI'm doing this too. I have got up to part 9 and am loving the speciality stitches. After part 3 it stiches up really quick.
