My fabric came this morning so I decided to start the mystery SAL. I am doing the speciality stitches version on 32ct Ivory Jobelan. I had a bit of a problem with the Queen stitches, but after much sewing , frogging, resewing, I got there in the end. I decided to do the speciality version for the challenge. I know some stitches and not others but the instructions are clear to follow. I am looking forward to seeing this one grow.

  10. I am hoping to get my supplies for this one this weekend!
But I wussed out and decided to go with the basic one because I have too many elaborate projects on the go right now... now I'm almost wishing I'd gone with the specialty stitches. Yours looks so great!

  11. Looking good Kelly - I'm so fighting the temptation to start this one, but seeing the photos on ilcs is making it hard...

  12. Not a castle fan, but the WIP I have seen of this one is very pretty so far. I'll have to see how it develops and see if I break down.

I'm doing this too. I have got up to part 9 and am loving the speciality stitches. After part 3 it stiches up really quick.
