Long Time No Post

I am finally stitching again after a turbulent couple of months.

Colins Nan finally passed away peacefully in her sleep on the 29th December. We will be attending her funeral on the 10th up in Dunstable.

I have been stitching on my Celtic Summer which is a SAL on my ILCS group. I am going to get it finished this year as Rene was a part of the SAL too. Picture to follow during the next few days.

Every New Year Rene and I always start a new SAL together. We picked out the chart several months ago and I am still going to go ahead and stitch it but I will be starting it in a few weeks when I can afford to buy the things I need for it.

Tonight I started Little House Needleworks 'The Bookshelf'. I didnt have the right coloured fabric for it but what I chose seems to be working pretty well. There's not enough done for an update as I need four colours for it which I have ordered from Sewandso, and cant do much until I get one of them ;-(

I am also determined to keep my seasonal shelf up to date, so I have a few charts already for months and seasons.

I look forward to seeing your pics of Celtic Summer. Am also just as curious as to what piece you and Rene had planned for your SAL. I'll be rooting you on for support.
